Jason Pepin
Jason Pepin (Waddell) makes everyone feel part of the Waddell community. Every morning, he greets students outside his classroom with special handshakes, nicknames, or small conversations, showing his genuine investment in all students. Whether they are in his class or not, he knows their names. In his classroom, he regularly checks in with families, ensuring they feel connected to both his class and the wider Waddell community. He attends school events and local games with his family, cheering for students past, present, and future.
Jason’s positive and warm demeanor makes him approachable for advice and expertise, making work a joy for colleagues. His energy and dedication to Waddell School are truly inspirational. He represents our school and district exceptionally well.
Jason is dedicated to his craft and committed to disrupting deficit mindsets. He encourages staff to engage in courageous conversations about race, challenging people to open their minds to different perspectives and experiences.
