Kitchen Volunteers
Kitchen volunteers help the chefs prep, cook, and serve the lunch meal to the 80 - 120 people a day we serve.
Some Volunteers help in the kitchen preparing the food, some help with incoming donations, and some help set up the serving line. Must be 16+Pantry VolunteersPantry volunteers can help with a variety of tasks depending on our needs. Some volunteers help with sorting and stocking cans, some help with bagging up groceries and some help in the office checking in clients. There are shifts open during pantry session as well as stocking shifts open off pantry hours.Thrift Shop VolunteersThrift shop volunteers clerk/sorter helps with sorting donations, hanging clothes on the racks, helping customers, cleaning and maintaining the store. Market & Manage our Out-of-School-Time Directory
Help us promote and maintain our digital directory of local activities and programs
Neighborhood Clean-ups
Walk the neighborhood to pick up trash while getting to know your neighbors
Community Gardens- Watering of foundation plantings and demonstration gardens
- Weeding and edging of accent gardens
- Maintenance of compost areas
- Planting and transplanting
